Hey everyone!!
So its time for me to finally get this confessional going. I expected to say some stuff earlier, but it was just too damn quiet. And it would have been a very lame post. But now things are rolling, and it seems like a lot has happened in the last couple of hours!
Coming into this, I was just hoping I could make a good impression right off the bat. I wanted to be social, but at the same time not come off as a threat. Depending on the group, that can be easier said than done. And seeing the slow start, I decided I needed to hike up my socks, and take charge. So I decided to do the first ITT challenge. Did I want to? Meh. Not overly. It makes me stand out right away. But someone needed to step up. I also felt pretty confident that I could pull out the win.
When the challenge started, it wasn't long until I knew I was going to win. Ed fell behind, and I wasn't going to miss a post. So I started talking to my tribe. I was wondering what to take. Do I take the tribe advantage and let what is likely an idol clue fall into Eds hands?? Or do I keep it away from him, and take the clue, and then share it with everyone in order to keep a target off my back?? I asked Chet and Sandra. Chet made a good point saying that even if I share it, I could be a target down the road because of it. And at this stage, an advantage is much better. So thats what I did. I am just hoping I didnt give up something amazing.
And when the challenge started, I knew I had made the right choice. If we use this advantage right, there is no reason for us to lose. Especially since two tribes are safe. We also decided to team up with Every. And they would be dumb not to since we have an advantage. So hopefully, this challenge is a breeze. We have a tribe chat going, and a chat with every. I am now backing away from things, to not make it seem like I am in charge. They're all planning and talking, and I am just being quiet. Makes sense to me!
I am hoping this tribe is a good one. We seem like we have very smart people, as well as an easy first boot in Monica. So I am down with that! Still not sure who I would team up with. Chet and I seem to have clicked quickly. But I fear that he is the same way with everyone.
I will do a tribe breakdown soon. But hopefully this fills you in enough.
