 Welcome to my DR... Am I in the right game? I consider myself to be an expert player in Big Brother, but when it comes to Survivor, I'll likely be just plain awful.  Now that the pressure's off, and I'm not setting unrealistic expectations, my hope is to have fun and meet a lot of the new ORGers. I'm pretty old in the ORG community, and have a pretty good track record for BB Orgs. This'll be my first ORG in a while, let alone a Survivor ORG, so I hope I perform well. |

I can handle this. Our tribe name and flag I highly approve of.
But since only pictures are shown, I have no idea what the names of the other members of my tribe are yet. #clueless
Time to do some research, and name game memorizing.

---PHONE UPDATE, PARDON THE JANK---
Yesterday was a passionate mess. Every and Lowe decided to work together to get Kidd out to tribal council.
I swore Kidd was going to beat us, but somehow we still pulled out a W!
I think I might be viewed as a leader of some sort? Which sucks, but I can only be what I am.
Denise really impressed me. She thought of a lot of contingency plans and hypotheticals that kept us on our toes for the competition. I approached her saying I want to play this game with her, and that I have her back in this game generally.
You know when someone just doesn't like you? Just for being you? Yeah, Lex hates me. He was short with our convos, and he constantly attacked me in the comp. Also I think we ruffled Kidd's feathers. I saw Malcolm post something about eating Lowe's rice. Whatevs! I'm safe.
Here's to not being first boot!

Monica will be doing a majority of the writing. Chet and I helped conceptualize her ideas. Denise and Sandra didn't do much of anything.
After Monica left, I spoke with Chet. Like Denise, I think Chet is really smart game-wise. But he hides behind a facade of a flamboyant, bubbly personality. I asked him who the three are. Now that JT's out, I just wanna make sure I'm in the majority.
I said I imagine Sandra would be voted out first. She's just worthless, and her performance of ITT just proves it. But since I gave Chet that info about Sandra, I wanted to see Chet give me info on how he felt between Monica and Denise.
Chet told me he liked Monica better. So I immediately said alright, me, you, and Monica. We'll make it official the next time we speak to Monica.
On the other hand, I wanna work with Denise. But she's a ghost on aim unless there's a challenge. So it all depends the amount of times we go to tribal.
For now, I at least feel comfortable that I spoke with Chet. The part that is uncomfortable was that he was quick to say Monica > Denise, which made me feel scurred that I could be voted out if it went down to us 3.

So I was pretty extra in my response in Kraken's chamber. But I guess I can be however I want to be when I'm talking in a room by myself.
The challenge was posted, and I'm like, Jeremiah. Honey-bear. Boo boo. If you wanted us to go to tribal twice you could have just told us, darling! This challenge requires us to be online at the same time for 5 minutes.
This challenge is for the same group that couldn't submit a story with a 24-hour extension, and you want us to meet online at the same time? Lolol.
I posted my limited availability, and we did it then. Chet didn't communicate with us at all, and Denise was overcompensating trying to protect her butt from being voted out if we were to go to tribal.
I literally think there's no possible way for me to accomplish anything in this game. What's the point? Why am I here? It seems like someone new each round decides that they want to be as useless as possible.
I opened my mouth to Chet. Saying it would be me and him if it goes down to me, him, and Monica. But with his absence this challenge, there's grounds for him to be voted out at tribal.
I'm in a position now where I have to work with Monica. She's the only person who I can rely on, despite her spotty presence on aim. I'll see where her heads at for the vote, if we do end up going to tribal. And that person will go home.

NEW TRIBE
I'm so stoked to be in a new tribe. Lowe really held back my potential, but I made sure not to burn any bridges with them in case I need them later.
I'm stoked Colby's on my tribe. We worked together in the raft challenge, and we clicked. I hope he trusts me, because I trust him and would like to work with him.
I thought that perhaps former Lowe and Every members could stick together and get rid of the Kidds. So i brought that idea up to Colby. The only red flag though is that there's 3 Every members and 2 Lowe members. So if we get rid of both Kidds, it's likely Lowe would be next.
Kathy's working her social game on me, which I appreciate.
Malcolm is the problem on the tribe. I would like to get rid of him immediately when the opportunity presents itself.

I semi-regret picking Vytas. The fact that I'm basically leading each tribe I get on, it's kind of just like another one of those lame straight white Caucasian males who will be seen for making decisions, and eventually will take the fall for it. I also saw a youtube video of Vytas, and he came across as pretty unlikeable.
Anywho, this IC is basically like a "Where do you want to eat?" car ride. Everybody's listing off fast-food joints but no one's really committing. So I just say "We're going to Wendy's. Fuck it." and give them detailed directions on how to arrive at that establishment. People may have a problem going to Wendy's, but at least we won't be riding in the car until it runs out of gas (*flashbacks to Lowe not submitting a story* NOT HAPPENING).
I'm enjoying this game. I'm kind of not really doing the alliance-thing. Which I know is dumb. But I think people view me too much of an asset to vote me off this early. And I think over-committing myself to deals would shoot me in the foot. So since I'm doing a lot in the challenges, I should do less in the making of alliances. But I should keep my social game strong just in case. #balance

Week 5
CHET
Monica gets voted out, and they split the votes in case Monica had the idol. So Chet is paranoid thinking he'll be next.
Chet wants to go out with a bang. So he's not going to submit a puzzle. This basically guarantees Wynn tribe winning as long as all our members submit something.
Chet's idea was that he would throw it, then Denise or I would perform the best on our tribe, and would then give immunity to Chet.
My thing though is that I don't want to be affiliated with Lowe anymore. We're already down to 3 as it is, and if we just solidify how close we are by giving each other immunities, than it would be bad for our games long-term.
Puzzles aren't my thing to begin with. So even if I perform really well, I'm pretty sure someone else would outperform me, just by being naturally good at puzzles.
So unfortunately for Chet, I'm definitely not winning immunity this round. But also for my game, I can't be winning all these competitions. I already was given credit last round for winning the challenge for our tribe, so I need to lay low and submit a puzzle time that showed effort, but doesn't come across as threatening.
ALINA
My main goal right now is to make merge with Alina. It may seem random that we would align, considering we were never on the same tribe, but that is EXACTLY why I want to work with this girl. We can both fill each other in on the going-ons of the tribe, and can potentially sway the votes to how we would like it week to week.
We communicate to each other pretty regularly. And I have a vested interest in wanting to work with her. We'll see if we can make our secret alliance come into fruition.
COLBY
Colby approached me last night talking about what we're going to do, considering everyone's going to tribal no matter what.
He said Kelly and Natalie would be on board making this an easy week by simply getting rid of Kathy or Malcolm.
An interesting thing was that Colby also said he would feel comfortable going against his own tribe of Kelly and Natalie, should we think that would be the direction we ought to pursue.
To get less blood on his hands, we decided we should take out a former Kidd. Colby said he told Kelly and Natalie about the plan, where I will have to fill Denise in.
We'll have to see who wins immunity first. And I plan on watching AIM like a hawk until tribal.

So I'm not good at this game. I think that's clear lol. I received two votes, from Malcolm and Kathy. I thought of throwing a random vote to Natalie, but I figured I couldn't get away with that in Survivor like I could in Big Brother. Good thing I didn't lol.
I read Kathy's comments. She was swinging on her way out. I don't understand the hostility towards me. Maybe it's because I stick out like a sore thumb, but she was placing all the blame on me without taking any responsibility. She wasn't on aim until it was time to vote, and by then it was simply too late. Honestly, had her social game been good and consistent, I would have been open to voting out someone else.
Also it seemed like Kathy was trying to "work" me last night. I talked to her the most out of everyone. So to me it's a bit crazy how she could vote me out when she was proactively trying to get in my good graces. I'm guessing because I didn't give her a bone, she decided to bite. All's fair in love and war.
It was interesting though! Had Kathy had the idol, I would've been voted out. She did have a piece of the treasure map, so it would've been possible that she could have gotten it. Hopefully I can take this lesson in with future votes.

So this round was pretty quiet. The challenge was straightforward. Colby created an aim chat for everyone but Malcolm. Poor guy. I'm upset that this challenge advantaged those in the majority, so basically Malcolm had no chance of winning immunity. What would be awesome is if Malcolm has the hidden immunity idol and used it at tribal. Even if I get voted out, it would make the aspect of going into merge more interesting, with more possibilities of people from both tribes potentially jumping ship.
A blindside is very possible. I mean, I haven't spoken to anyone on AIM recently. I know I have Colby and Denise. Kelly and Natalie are also allies of association. But if anyone's likely to flip it would be Kelly and Natalie. It would just be HELLA stupid for them to cause some dissension in the tribe right before the merge. We do have to be a unified tribe. And since Malcolm is the outcast, it should make this vote an easy one.
In the challenge, had I given myself the +3, I would've won immunity. But I didn't want it. I was surprised I got the blue topaz twice. I actually gave myself a -1 rock. So I have no idea what that means with my place in the tribe. I literally told my tribe mates that they could give me any negative valued rocks in case they would feel bad about giving negative rocks to other people. And I still end up with the second most amount of points in the challenge.
If Malcolm pulls off a blindside though, I would be very impressed! I actually may stay off aim to see if he could pull something off lol. Good luck homie!
