1) Confessionals are MANDATORY in this game. If you don't post at least one quality confessional a round, you will self-vote (we'll be nice and give you a warning first). You will have up until the votes are due to post a confessional.

2) Updated boot lists are also mandatory! Create a boot list of all the players in the game, the first player being who you would vote out first, and the last player being who you would vote out last. This will prevent you from self-voting at tribal council. Players who don't provide a boot list will self vote at every tribal council they attend until they make one.

3) A reminder that this is an ALIAS GAME. Please do not reveal your identity to anyone else, or ask other players to reveal their identity. If you figure out a player's identity, keep it to yourself. Do not tell that player, or other players.

Pre-game questions!

In this game, we will not be asking you questions every confessional. Confessionals are still mandatory though.

However we will ask you some pre-game questions.

1) Why did you choose to play the character you did?

2) What are your first impressions of the cast?

3) As you get to know your competition, who would you like to work with? Who would you not like to work with?

[Kelly Goldsmith]

1) Why did you choose to play the character you did?
Kelly Goldsmith is one of my favorite characters and easily the most underrated contestant of all time. But more importantly, I actually feel like out of all the people who have ever played Survivor, she is the one I feel most similar to and the one I identify with the most. I just feel like we have really similar personalities and I think that will be a lot easier to work with as an alias since I won't have to work very hard to be able to emulate Kelly; I just have to be myself! Also of course I need to redeem her and get her the rightful win that she deserves although I have to say I am really happy with some of the other contestants chosen because I love most of them. The only contestant that I can say I dislike is Lex (the reason for that should be obvious...) but I still recognize him as a great character. Also Brian is ridiculously overrated, the dude played a fairly solid game of Survivor and now the revisionist fanbase has somehow pulled this used car salesman Mr. Freeze demigod persona out of their ass when they refer to him...ANYWAY (you will find that I rant about Survivor often)

2) What are your first impressions of the cast?
I've only talked to Monica so far (mostly because I absolutely adore Monica Culpepper and I think she was my 2nd choice after Kelly if I'm not mistaken)and also Katie because I love her as well. They both seemed nice enough but I didn't really have a substantial conversation with them. I am also starting to realize that it's going to be hard to distinguish between when I am referring to the ORG player and when I am referring to the actual Survivor player that they are using as an alias but I guess I have to figure it out somehow. Still getting used to alias games! Besides that, I haven't really talked to anyone much...I don't really want to overwhelm myself right now and I'm just waiting for the tribe reveal so I can just focus on getting to know my tribemates. Seems like a pretty cool cast based on the players that they chose but obviously I shouldn't really be reading too much into that. I find it interesting that people are picking these high-profile characters (or winners) like Sandra, Malcolm, JT, Vytas, Denise, etc. Seems like a risky choice. Another reason I chose Kelly is because she's extremely non-threatening (coughjeremiahcough) and fairly invisible and I don't think anyone would necessarily feel like I'm trying to make a statement or claim something about my game by picking her

3) As you get to know your competition, who would you like to work with? Who would you not like to work with?
oh god like i said i've barely even talked to people
i guess i'd like to work with colby because he liked one of my posts in the check-in thread even though i've never talked to him. honestly i'd like to work with lex as well (as long as he's not a huge douchebag once i talk to him) because i think it would be funny and sort of unexpected at least for the other contestants
i don't want to work with sandra. as much as i adore sandra i feel like i wouldn't particularly enjoy a person who feels up to the task of representing someone like her in an alias game and doing her justice, but more power to him/her
