Last time, on Survivor...
The remaining 14 castaways merged from 3 tribes into 2, known as Dampier and Wynn. For some, this was a rebirth in their game. For others, it was crippling.
On Dampier, the 3 Kidd members Alina, Lex, and Charlie teamed up with the two Lowe members - Katie and Edgardo, leaving Chet and Monica on the outs.
On Wynn, Colby and Vytas bonded quickly, slightly worrying the other members of their tribe.
After the final Into The Triangle, Denise won an advantage for the brand-new Wynn tribe and Vytas' leadership helped secure a victory for the tribe. Back on Dampier, Alina was offended by a comment of Edgardo's, and was lobbying for him to leave. In the end, the vote turned on Monica, and she was voted out 4-2-1.
13 are left, who will be voted out tonight?

Can somebody make me a cheatsheet of Chet-nicknames? It's hard to keep them all straight.

The Slut = Denise Elmo = Monica Furry Pillow = Vytas Little Munchkin = Charlie The Traitor = Alina Butch = Lex The Spanish Inquisition = Edgardo Saucy = Katie
Also, Alina made a deal with Chet not to vote for each other and broke it the same exact round.

And yeah, I pretty much expected that Alina would blow herself up some way like this. She's too excitable and approaches the game in a way that's a little too Alina-centric for me to have too much faith in her. The hardest thing to do is to understand that the people you're playing against are people playing their own games. If you try to treat everyone like they're the supporting characters in YOUR story, you're gonna get knocked down sooner rather than later.

I just don't want to go home because her confessionals are the best goddamn confessionals I've ever read. Aside from my own, of course. On the other hand, I'd love if Malcolm outlasted her, because it reaffirms my own, barely thought out choice of a pre-game pick. Go Austin! Tribal power rankings will be up in half an hour, because I'm sure you all have just been DYING to have my input, .

DUN DUN DUN!
TRIBAL POWER RANKINGS
By The Awesomely Alliterative Austin
DAMPIER:
1. Katie: Katie who? Not a target, as far as I can tell, but that could change. That being said, it’d be unlikely for her to leave, albeit possible.
2. Edgardo: I’d never thought I’d say this, but at least for this vote, I think little Eddie’s safe. He has an idol in his pocket, and given Chet’s rampage against Alina and Charlie, Edgardo’s target has been temporarily forgotten. There’s an outside shot he gets idoled, but I think Chet is more likely.
3. Lex: I never thought I’d see Lex in the best position from Kid, but it happened. People see him as more as a pawn than anything else, so he’s not the target on Dampier.
4. Chet: He has solid alliances across the board, and while he may have received votes last tribal, I don’t’ think his name is going to be seriously considered. Having said that, if Charlie’s idol gets played, there’s a good chance he leaves.
5. Charlie: He wants to protect Alina, but at the end of the day, I’m not sure if he’d idol her over himself. His name’s being talked about, at any rate, and while he’s a solid player, it’ll be tricky to survive this next vote without sacrificing Alina.
6. Alina: Poor Alina. Girl didn’t want to place 14th, but now she might place 13th because she got mad paranoid. Putting not one, but TWO votes on Chet was a big mistake. She’s naive, and while I’m hoping she can last, unless she and Charlie are immune it’ll be very difficult for them to survive.
WYNN
1. Vytas: While he may be a target come merge, right now no one’s bringing up his name seriously for eviction, because Colby is an effective shield for him. His side alliance with Alina will most likely prevent and Kidd rebellion from targeting him, should it somehow occur.
2. Kelly: The fact that I’m consistently getting Kelly and Katie mixed up may seem like a bad thing, but the fact that she’s on no one’s radars is a really good thing. No one’s targeting her, so she should be able to slide into the merge.
3. Natalie: Like Kelly, no one’s bringing up her name. There are suspicions about her, but I don’t see anything big happening this upcoming vote. If she went I’d be surprised. Pleasantly surprised, but surprised none the less.
4. Colby: If Malcolm manages to flip the vote, then he’s a big target, being the leader archetype for pretty much Every tribe he’s been on. (I do not apologize for that pun.) That being said, Natalie wants him around, so I doubt she’ll boot him over Denise.
5. Denise: She’s a relative unknown, and I can see a world where she’s booted to try and prevent waves from being made. Her only use is comps, and with the merge coming up, at least in their eyes, she may be seen as a viable option.
6. Malcolm: My boy Malcolm’s in a little bit of trouble right now. The others seem to want to boot a Kidd, and while the majority seem to want Kathy out over him for whatever reason, there are a few, like Vytas, who seem like they would prefer a Malcolm boot.
7. Kathy: Probably the singular individual hurt most by the tribal switch, if she doesn’t get immunity I think it’ll be very difficult for her to survive. Even her allies think she’s shady, and unless she or Malcolm can pull a miracle out of their ass, one of them goes in the first of the double evictions. Having said that, they move up a bit after the first one, given the survivors reduced threat.
Agree? Disagree? C'mon, lets fight it out!

Oh I love her too. I think she's great, and her confessionals are probably the best look we have at the game on a round-by-round basis. If she won, I'd be hype as shit. I just recognize the mistake she's making because I've made it before. Hell, it was part of my error in Warriors Prime: I didn't do a good enough job of convincing people that I was playing an "Us" game and not a "Me" Game. If she's lucky, she'll get a wake-up call before she's voted out. If she's unlucky, she'll get betrayed by two people who are smarter than her, and then her last ally will go on to win the game.

Wow Alina is on the bottom now? Funny how fast things change. What did I miss?

Wow Alina is on the bottom now? Funny how fast things change. What did I miss? She got paranoid about Monica idoling her out, so she and Charlie wrote down Chet's name. Now Chet is on the hunt for their blood, and will most likely succeed in booting one of them, given his solid play.

You mix up Katie and Kelly because they're the two most dangerous people in this game in very similar ways, and if they make the merge together, everyone else is in serious trouble.

You can't go around throwing your votes on someone and expect there not to be consequences. I thought Charlie was smarter than that :/

I totally understand throwing a vote on Chet just in case of an idol play so then Chet leaves, but two votes is just stupid. Ideally, the main alliance was going to stick together and take out the Lowes. Alina made an unecassary deal that she broke hours later, which just hurt her and Charlie. I can't see a Kidd getting immunity, so they better hope they can convince Katie/Ed to take out Chet, which isn't out of the picture because Charlie and Katie have gotten along really well, or use an idol correctly in Survivor Warriors...
Meanwhile on Wynn, Mama Kath is most likely gone, and it's mostly her own fault. Not being much on AIM, especially during a swap, can frequently be a death sentence. I also can't see Malcolm saving her, because he's...well, Malcolm.

I feel the same way igor. Charlie is gonna have to play his idol, or he's gonna get swapfucked.
